Run 4 Hope – Saturday 16 September 2017
We trust that your race preparations have been going well and that Saturday is going to be a success! For those who have already registered to run, thank you! It is vital that you read the information below as it will explain everything you will need to know for Run4Hope. If you haven’t yet registered and want to, it isn’t too late! You can regieter on the day for £20. You too, can read the information below and come in time to register for the race you wish to run.
Location: Buille Hill Park, Eccles Old Rd, Salford, M6 8GL (Weaste Lane entrance)
Time: Registration from 9am, races start from 10am – 3pm
What to do when you arrive:
When you arrive go straight to the registration table, there you will confirm your attendance and collect your runner number.
9-9:30am 10k Registration
9:30-10am 5k Registration
10-11am Kiddie K, Doggie run, Ride, Scoot & Pram Registration
Entry and Parking
The section of the park designated for the Run4Hope event is by Weaste Lane, please use the gate site access to enter and exit the park.
Due to a wedding taking place on the same day in another section of the park, we are asking that you would kindly park on Weaste Lane and not near the function room.
Parking has been reserved on the actual site for those dropping off equipment and carriers of a disabled badge- all other vehicles must be parked on the Weaste Lane or on surrounding roads.
The Big Picnic
The Big Picnic will be available for everyone to enjoy between the times of 12 and 12:45pm. The only food available will be the picnic, on this occasion, there will be no food for sale so please feel free to bring your own additional food if you so wish. If you have committed to donating to The Big Picnic, please do remember your contribution- it is greatly appreciated!
Run4Hope is a great day for the whole family- with that being said, children are their parents responsibility throughout the whole event. Activities will be available for your child to enjoy on the day in our Kids Zone. Also at the Kids Zone will be the lost child point, in the unlikely event of a missing child.
And finally, volunteers…
Run4Hope cannot function without you! Thank you to all who have signed up to volunteer in any capacity, please do make sure you are aware of the times and areas in which you are volunteering on the day. For those who haven’t yet signed up but would like to volunteer, please see the team leader within your desired area to see how you can get stuck in- many hands make light (fun) work!
Run4Hope 2017 is going to be our best yet so come expectant and ready to run! Until then, prayer for good weather and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
